This type of Cap Hole Plug was used a lot when the operators of arcade machines made modifications on them by changing different Jamma Board Games. Some games had more or less buttons than others and in order not to have to change the arcade control panel for a new one, they simply removed the buttons that were not necessary and covered the holes with these Cap Hole Plugs.

This button cap is used to cover any 30mm diameter hole like the ones used by Japanese style arcade button. For example, this button cap can be used in any hole used our fight-sticks, normally occupied by Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons of 30mm diameter.
