It is also compatible with PS4 games on PS5. The Brook Wingman XE2 is also compatible with more than 130+ peripherals, controllers, arcade sticks for maximum enjoyment on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles (*PS5 for PS4 backwards compatible games).

Thanks to its latest firmware update (V1.14 and above) for this device, the Wingman XE2 offers compatibility with a wide range of console gamepads, arcade sticks and controllers in order to connecto to the Nintendo Switch, PS3, PS4 and PS5 consoles *Please note that native PS5 games are not supported at this time; PS4 games that are backwards compatible on PS5 will work. PC control is Direct Input and not X-Input.

The Brook Wingman XE2 converter adapter is firmware upgradeable, which can be used to improve functionality and add new features. Firmware upgrades are performed by connecting the device to a Windows PC, or Mac (where applicable).

The Brook Wingman XE2 converter adapter unlocks the full potential of our controllers thanks to its Turbo function. In addition, this adapter offers the function of configuration of the controller buttons (Remap) which will allow us to create different custom configurations for each game.

NOTE: If you want to use Wingman XE2 on Nintendo Switch, you must go to System Settings --> Controllers & Sensors and then "turn ON Pro Controller Wired Communication".

Important

• Each Wingman XE2 can only be connected to a single device. Supports most compatible accessories with the original factory specifications. To expand the number of compatible accessories, the firmware is updated on a regular basis.
• It does NOT support the headphone/microswitch function provided by the audio jack of some controllers.
• Wireless connection records between an Xbox One (Bluetooth-enabled)/Xbox One Series 2 wireless controller and the Wingman XE will be erased if a wired connection is used. Re-pairing the wireless connection will be required if a wireless connection is used.
• If using the Xbox One Elite Series 2 controller, disable the controller profile settings to avoid interference with the Turbo or Remap settings on the Wingman XE. Since the Xbox One Elite Series 1 controller cannot disable the profile settings, using the Xbox One Elite Series 1 controller could cause the Remap function to overlap.
• If you use the PS3 / PS4 / Switch Pro wireless controller, we must first connect it as if it were a wired controller via USB and then remove the cable.
• Please check product compatibility on the official brook website before ordering, as NOT all brands or models of controllers / steering wheel / Joystick are compatible with the brook adapter.
