Dupont wiring for Qanba LED illuminated push button

Qanba is a very well known brand in the Arcade world in general, since all its products are synonymous of quality and reliability. Best known for its Fightsticks, and being at the height of Sanwa or Seimitsu, Qanba may be the least known of this triumvirate as far as other components are concerned, not meaning that it does not have the quality to fight with its most direct opponents as far as quality in their products is concerned.

Of different designs and sizes, one of its most recognized buttons are perhaps the illuminated LED ones. For the illumination of this button we can not use any cable. We must use a specific cable for this Qanba button, since its connector is also specific in terms of size.

That is why we present this specific cable used for the illumination of the Qanba brand LED button. These LED buttons have a specific two-pin connector for lighting called JST. This connector is of different size depending if the button's diameter is 24mm or 30mm.

It would be very difficult to illuminate your Qanba buttons without this type of cable, due to the specific size of the two-pin JST connectors integrated in the Qanba LED buttons (which are not standard). 

With a length of 30cm, you can use this wiring with encoders such as the Xin Mo, mini-PAC or Daemon, all of them with male Dupon connectors and capable of outputting 5v, enough to illuminate your Qanba buttons. Remember that this cable is only used for lighting. For the action you will have to use other wiring depending on the encoder you are using.
