Jamma adapter for TAITO Games

This superb adapter designed by JOTEGO allows the use of classic Taito games designed before the JAMMA standard on both a JAMMA arcade machine and a supergun device.

Following the monumental success of Space Invaders, Taito released numerous captivating arcade titles throughout the 1980s. At first, their games of the late 1970s used different hardware configurations and pins. However, in the early 1980s, these became standardized, allowing the release of many games with identical pin configurations.

In this conversion category, Taito games typically include a standard PCB connector (G) for audio, video and controls, along with a 12-pin header (H) for power. Although some sets may include an additional PCB connector (T) for supplemental power delivery, connecting these is usually unnecessary. To date, no games have been identified that require this additional connection.

This adapter supports Upright and Cocktail modes and is particularly useful for playing Arkanoid Revenge of DOH, which requires a spinner on the left/right JAMMA inputs.

Included with the adapter is the essential power cable to connect to the PCB H header.
