Seimitsu LS-58-01-CX SE Translucent Arcade joystick

The fabulous Seimitsu LS-58 Joystick has not been available for the regular customer until recently. This Joystick model was reserved for arcade operators as they were installed by default on some models of the famous Japanese Candys Arcade Cabinets. This Joystick is basically the same as the LS-56 model, but with a slightly softer tension due to the spring installed in it. It is also important to note that the Seimitsu LS-58 is a short travel joystick. If we compare it to the Sanwa JLF, we can notice the difference in tension and shaft travel distance right away, as the Sanwa has a longer and softer tension overall. Therefore, our conclusion is that this Joystick is ideal for Shmups such as the DodonPachi, Gradius, Raiden, R-Type, Ikaruga, etc and also for fighting games such as the King of Fighters, Mortal Kombat, the Street Fighter saga etc.

The Seimitsu LS-58 is an 8-way joystick that comes with a mounting plate that includes a square restrictor, allowing accurate and precise movements, ideal for the most demanding players.

You are looking at a compact Joystick, like most of the joysticks of the prestigious Japanese brand, with a 5-pin connector integrated on the joysticks PCB to facilitate connection to arcade encoders such as Zero Delay, Xin Mo and the like. 

Actually the LS-58-01-CX is nothing more than a variant of the LS-58 with a translucent ball top and translucent shaft that come in several different colors. In terms of mechanics and operation the Joystick is exactly the same, the difference is simply at an aesthetic level.
