Japanese Style Arcade Joystick 5-Pin connector

Here we have a budget friendly OEM joystick with very similar features to the Sanwa model JLF-TP-8Y. If you look at the image below, you will see that the measurements of this joystick are very similar to those of the Sanwa JLF Joystick, although you should note that the width of the mounting plate is 60mm instead of 53mm of the Sanwa JLF plus, this Joystick is 2mm higher. 

Both joysticks have an identical 4- or 8-way position restrictor. It is important to note that this Joystick also supports the Sanwa Octagonal Restrictor. Additionally, this joystick also has a 5-pin connector which is used to connect to an encoder, just as the Sanwa model JLF-TP-8Y.

The Japanese Style 5-Pin Arcade Joystick can be purchased in a wide range of colours: black, red, white, blue, yellow, see, pink and orange. In regards to the shaft, this joystick has a medium-long travel shaft and it is very smooth to handle, like most Asian Joysticks. It takes hardly any effort to operate it. This is a joystick that will perform really well in the Shoot 'Em up arcade genre and Fighting Games, especially if you complement it with the Sanwa Octagonal Restrictor.

One of the advantages of this joystick is that it has an easy access restrictor and allows the joystick to be operated in 4- and 8-way movement by just switching the restrictor underneath the joystick.
