Crown CWL-309Helpme-K-KMS-ST35 Arcade Joystick

The Crown CWL-309Helpme-K-KMS-ST35 joysticks from the South Korean company SAMDUCKSA are professional quality arcade joysticks. Like most Korean joysticks, these are recommended for games such as Tekken, Street Fighter, King of Fighters and fighting games in general. This joystick is used by professional players in video game tournaments, especially TEKKEN games.

The Samducksa / Crown brand has released several models of its Korean joysticks within the 300 series, such as the 303-N, the 307-N and now the 309Helpme-K. This new iteration has been created after Crown had carefully listened to feedback from hardcore Tekken players, specifically from joystick modder Helpme. In this new model, some features from previous models have been dropped in order to offer a more balanced joystick that many would consider a middle ground between the other models.

The main feature of the 303-N stick is a longer travel distance, while the larger actuator of the 307 shortens dead zones. The 309Helpme-K-KMS-ST35 is Crown's attempt to mimic the popular Myoungshin Fanta Joystick, reducing the travel distance with a smaller, more durable 16.5 mm actuator.

Samducksa joysticks use a high density silicone rubber ring to quickly return the joystick lever to the center. They are specially designed for 3D fighting games and are used in many professional tournaments, especially Tekken tournaments. The ST variant uses a white silicone rubber tensioning system with a shore A rating of 35. The advantage of using a rubber tension is a faster return to neutral, which is perfect for 3D games like Tekken 7 and the like, where a wavy and consistent movement is required.

The Crown CWL-309Helpme-K-KMS-ST35 joystick shares many features with other Fanta joysticks: smooth control and no corner hitting, essential for QCB, QCF (quarter circle back/forward) HCB, HBC (half circle back/forward) and full 360º movements.

Another unique aspect of the Crown CWL-309Helpme-K-KMS-ST35 stick is the use of the superb Korean Gersung GSM-V1623A3 microswitches. Like the 303 and 307 models, each microswitch can be removed from the joystick and replaced with another. This opens up the possibility to customize microswitch sensitivity and performance.

CAUTION:

The Crown CWL-309Helpme-K-KMS-ST35 joystick is the latest version of the Helpme 309 MJ.

This joystick is NOT compatible with the Sanwa JLF mounting plate.

This version was made with the collaboration of the Korean joystick modder "Helpme".

This 'V2' is characterized by four Gersung GSM-V1603A3HM microswitches.

N.B: Due to the packaging, the microswitch contactors may arrive bent.

N.B2: The treatment of the contactors may be uneven in color.

N.B3: To install the rod, you must push it firmly while turning it from right to left.
