What makes the Sanwa JLX-TP-8YT so special? Each unit of the Sanwa JLX joystick comes with a flat mounting plate for metal panels model JLF-P1, 2 dust covers / washers and a TP-MA plate with soldered OMRON microswitches.

The tension of this joystick is easily adaptable to be modified for those who prefer a stiffer feel with 2, 4 or 6 pound tension springs. We can also switch between 8 and 4 directions with ease thanks to the GT-X square restrictor included with the joystick. If you are looking for an even more precise 8-way control for your Street Fighter combos, the Sanwa GT Y octagonal restrictor is also available.

What are the differences between the Sanwa JLX-TP-8YT joystick and the JLF-TP-8YT?

• The base material has changed from nylon to POM (polyacetal resin), being less susceptible to wear due to environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.
• Reduced washer rattle for the M-base by increasing its thickness.
• Adjustments to the internal shape of the M-base to reduce bearing rattle as well.
• Change of bearing material from POM to nylon, improving abrasion resistance and sliding ability.
• PCB board has been upgraded from paper phenol to CEM-3, offering increased durability and strength.
• Uses a white JLF-P-W actuator. (Same actuator in JLF-TPRG-8BYT-SK). It has greater dimensional stability in molding than the conventional black actuator and reduces variations in input accuracy. In addition, it is about 0.12 mm thicker (0.24 mm diameter) than the black actuator, but was adopted for its good usability in location testing and for e-sports players.
• Change from GT-8F to GT-X restrictor.
• Other materials such as the pivot, M-base and amongst others have been improved.
