If you look closely, you will notice that this type of push button is significantly different from the buttons used on arcade machines. Original Pinball buttons do not use regular microswitches, but use direct contact leaf switches. This provides a completely different feel compared to arcade buttons, as well as a response when pressed that is also noticeably different. First of all, you don't feel the characteristic "click" of microswitches when the button is actuated. In addition, we can adjust the time at which the leaf activates the button according to our preferences. We can adjust the microleaf so that it is necessary to press the button all the way down to get a response, or we can set it to respond immediately by adjusting the leaf closer to the button itself. It is important to note, however, that microleafs require some maintenance, as the leaf itself can become out of adjustment over time, unlike the microswitches used on arcade buttons.

Another interesting aspect of this type of button is the nut or thread that is used to adjust it to the Pinball cabinet. Unlike arcade push buttons, Pinball buttons originally came equipped with metal nuts instead of plastic nuts. However, we at Arcade Express have decided to offer the buyer the choice between an original metal nut or 3D printed nuts, which are indeed cheaper.
