Dreamblaster X2 USB Compatible MIDI Synthesizer Sound Card

The Dreamblaster X2 is a daughterboard/sub-card that delivers MIDI music similar to the Roland Canvas synthesizer and plugs into the pins of a Sound Blaster 16-type ISA card via a Wave blaster connector.

The card, made in Belgium, has an excellent quality and we assure you that the MIDI sound it offers is spectacular. You will be able to enjoy your old graphic adventures such as Monkey Island, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Maniac Mansion and other classics like Doom and Duke Nukem 3D with the best sound possible!

The PCB comes in an elegant black colour that nicely highlights all the electronics on the card. What can we say about it... it is a treasure!

The chip chosen to accompany the card is the Dream Series 500 with 81 polyphonic voices and excellent quality in its Special Effects. In addition, the latency you will get with this card is really low. We are talking less than 1 ms.

The sound bank that comes by default with the card is excellent, but if you get bored with it and want to change it, no problem. The card has 64mb of data to upload more sound banks which can be downloaded from the original product page of the DreamBlasterX2.

Another feature of this card is that it really is an actual MIDI card.  This means you can connect it to your preferred controller via sound card and enjoy all the instruments you want to work with and compose music.
