Made in the USA, the Suzo Happ Blue Optical Arcade Light Gun Assy 45 Cal Type II B features a look and design that emulates a real firearm, providing a very immersive gaming experience. It is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the player's hands and ensure a firm grip during gaming sessions.

Its optical system uses tracking light detection technology, registering the position and movement of the weapon on screen in a precise and accurate way, allowing for fast and realistic game interaction and providing an unparalleled experience.

The Happ optical gun is designed to optically detect a small area of the screen and provide a synchronization signal via a trigger to the game hardware. Injection molded from polycarbonate plastic, the lightgun contains a sensor, PCB board and lens prepared and programmed for detecting light from a CRT screen. A gold-plated contact switch is included to provide a clean, reliable and fast trigger signal.

This gun is mounted and attached to the cabinet thanks to a very flexible 12 mm diameter, 1.1 meter long hose. This hose is made of heavy-duty rubber for superior resistance to wear, resisting twisting and pulling without damage and protecting the special high-flex cables used to connect the gun to the gaming system.

This Suzo Happ 45 Cal Type II B Blue Optical Arcade Gun requires a voltage of +5 vdc for operation. The optical output signal is a negative pulse from an LM311 voltage comparator that is activated by a 4.7k resistor and is active as long as the trigger is pressed. This output is given at the horizontal frequency and is present whenever the gun is pointed at the screen.
