Vga to RGB 15.7khz to Jamma connector and Arcade monitor cable

This simple but effective cable will help us connect our PC with an ArcadeVGA graphics card that outputs 15Khz CGA video directly to our Arcade CGA / RGB monitor.

This cable has a D-SUB 15 (VGA) connector that is plugged directly to the VGA output of our ArcadeVGA card. At the other end of the cable we will find 6 wires stripped and soldered to red small connectors that will make easier the work of connecting the cable to our Jamma harness or to the RGB connector of our Arcade monitor. These wires are marked with their corresponding function.

When connecting this cable to our Jamma harness we have to check the function of each cable colour since it has to be equivalent to that of the RGB connector of our arcade cabinet. The wires that we need to check are RED / GREEN / BLUE, the ground wire and the horizontal sync.

Although our cable has 2 sync wires, Hoizontal and Vertical, only the Horizontal sync is important for our Arcade monitor. We will only have to connect the Horizontal sync or splice the 2 syncs in 1 cable, the horizontal sync.
