With the powerful GBS 8100 video converter you'll be able to convert any VGA video signal to CGA /RGB / S-Video signals to video 15Khz compatible with original Arcade Monitors and CRT TVs. The perfect solution to connect a computer or a Raspberry Pi to an Arcade Monitor in a simple and easy way, obtaining a high-quality image.

The ideal project to enjoy the MAME emulator and other 8/16/32 bits emulators through your computer connected directly to your CGA monitor. The GBS 8100 video converter is also useful for connecting multigame jamma boards with VGA output such as the Pandora's Box. 

This wonderful video converter also allows you to control the geometry of the video image, by moving it up, down, left and right in case of misalignment plus it let's you zoom in and out.

Another advantage of the GBS 8100 VGA to CGA board is that you can switch between PAL and NTSC region modes easily thanks to a little switch. This is undoubtedly a great advantage to be able to play in NTSC 60Hz mode, which is the original speed of most games.

An RGB cable is included in the package, but not the power supply. To power the board you will need a power supply with 5V output and 2 Amps or you can also use the 5V DC cable that we also include in the package. That cable would need to be connected to an Arcade Power Supply'a 5V screw terminal or similar. DO NOT USE A 12V Power supply or the PCB could be damaged.
