RGBs SCART Monitor Geometry Adjustment Adapter Horizontal - Vertical

This SCART / RGB adapter from Arcadexpress will allow us to adjust the vertical and horizontal image of our CRT TV.

By connecting the Geometric Adjustment Adapter to a SCART cable and the SCART cable to our CRT TV Scart connector, we will be able to manage in a simple and easy way the horizontal and vertical geometry of our video image. A 9V / 12V power supply is necessary to get this adapter working. The RGBs SCART Monitor Adjustment Geometry Adapter is Plug & Play and there is no need to install drivers or to configure anything. 

This adapter is compatible with any TV that has a SCART input, not only CRT televisions. It is important to note that we can only configure the image framing / position and not the image width or vertical size.

This device is super practical and comes in very handy, especially if instead of having an Arcade Monitor we have installed a CRT TV in our Arcade Cabinet or we are simply using one. Why? Because normally, in Analogue CRT TVs the image appears displaced. When connecting a Supergun or an Arcade Jamma Board, or even a PC with an emulator like RetroArch or MAME the video image will not appear centered. This happens 99% of the time. Unlike Arcade monitors, which have their own potentiometers to calibrate the image, on our analogue CRT TV we would need to find the service menu code and then enter it to calibrate the geometry of the image. With this adapter this becomes a much easier task.

How to install it:

The installation of this adapter is very simple. We just need to connect 2 x SCART / cables at the input video and output video of the adapter. The cable that goes to the input video of the adapter needs to be connected to our console, PC / Device with SCART video and the cable that goes to the SCART output, connected to our TV. Once connected, turn on the TV and turn on the adapter by pressing where it says ON / OFF. Once we see the image on the monitor, start adjusting the horizontal positioning via the knob where it is written H-POS and the vertical positioning with the V-POS knob.
