Description - Arcadeforge SLG SCART Scanline Generator 15Khz

In modern games, the lack of scanlines is not a problem, but in retro games with their pixel-based graphics, scanlines are of vital importance. They make the image look sharper, giving more clarity to 2D images. Getting this type of image on a LCD / TFT television was, until recently, impossible since scanlines are an integral part of how CRT technology works.

This adapter is intended for users who want to connect a classic console (Super Nintendo, N64, Megadrive, etc...) with SCART / Euronector output to a modern (PLASMA / LCD / LED) TV equipped with video SCART input.

The Scanlines SLG SCART Generator is Plug & Play. However, we need to connect an external 5V Power supply for it to work properly. This power supply can be purchased HERE. By simply connecting it to the SCART input and output of the console and the TV we would already have this adapter working 100%. The SLG SCART Scanlines Generator has a knob to adjust the density of the scanlines progressively. In addition, the generator has an off and on switch.

Installation

  1. Connect the SCART Scanline Generator between a RGB Scart console to an LCD with Scart input video.
  2. Plug in Power Supply Unit (Not included).
  3. Turn on and off the scanlines, adjust the scanlines level as desired.
