The Brook Wingman XE converter adapter is compatible with new generation controllers such as the Xbox X|S Series (wired use) / Xbox 360 / Xbox One (wired use) / Xbox Elite (wired use) / Xbox Elite Series 2 (wired use) / PS5 / PS4 / PS3 / SEGA ASTRO CITY mini (wired use) / Switch Pro controller and arcade stick use on PS4 / PS3. It is also compatible with PS4 games on PS5. The Brook Wingman XE is also compatible with more than 130 peripherals, controllers, arcade stick for maximum enjoyment on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles (*PS5 for PS4 backward compatible games).

Thanks to its latest firmware update (V1.2c and above) for this device, the Wingman XE offers compatibility with a wide range of console gamepads, arcade sticks and controllers to PS3, PS4 and PS5 consoles. *Please note that native PS5 games are not supported at this time; PS4 games that are backwards compatible on PS5 will work.

PC control is Direct Input, rather than X-Input.

The Wingman XE, with updated firmware, allows your Playstation 3, PS4, PS5 Dual Sense gamepads, plus the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, and even the newly released Sega Astro City and Megadrive Mini gamepad or arcade stick to work with your PS3 and PS4 or even PS5 console with PS4 backwards compatible games. If you want to play PS5/PS4/PS3 with any Xbox /PS controller (Especially SEGA ASTRO CITY/SEGA MEGA Drive mini/Switch Pro), this adapter is one of the best options on the market.

The Brook Wingman XE converter adapter is firmware upgradeable, which can be used to improve functionality and add new features. Firmware upgrades are performed by connecting the device to a Windows PC, or Mac (where applicable).

The Brook Wingman XE converter adapter unlocks the full potential of our new generation controllers thanks to its Turbo function. In addition, this adapter offers the controller's button configuration function (Remap) which will allow us to create different custom configurations for each game.

Important

• Each Wingman XE can only be connected to a single device. Supports most accessories compatible with the original factory specifications. To expand the number of compatible accessories, the firmware is updated on a regular basis.
• It does NOT support the headphone/microswitch function provided by the audio jack of some controllers.
• Wireless connection records between an Xbox One (Bluetooth-enabled)/Xbox One Series 2 wireless controller and the Wingman XE will be erased if a wired connection is used. Re-pairing the wireless connection will be required if a wireless connection is used.
• If using the Xbox One Elite Series 2 controller, disable the controller profile settings to avoid interference with the Turbo or Remap settings on the Wingman XE. Since the Xbox One Elite Series 1 controller cannot disable the profile settings, using the Xbox One Elite Series 1 controller could cause the Remap function to overlap.
• If you use the PS3 / PS4 / Switch Pro wireless controller, we must first connect it as if it were a wired controller via USB and then remove the cable.
• Some devices with high power consumption, such as the Switch Pro controller, require an external USB power supply for normal use.
• Please check product compatibility on the official brook website before ordering, as NOT all brands or models of controllers / steering wheel / Joystick are compatible with the brook adapter.
